Vibrantz Technologies expands Pearls™ solid colorant tinting technology to Africa in collaboration with Peralin Paints

HOUSTON, November 17, 2025 — Vibrantz Technologies announced that Peralin Paints has become the first company in Africa to implement the Pearls™ solid colorant tinting system. The milestone installation marks the debut of Pearls on the African continent, underscoring both companies’ shared commitment to advancing smarter, more sustainable color solutions.

Developed by Vibrantz, Pearls is the coatings industry’s first volumetrically dosed solid colorant tinting system designed for waterborne architectural and industrial applications. It combines accuracy, low maintenance and improved environmental benefits — offering zero volatile organic compounds (VOCs), reduced waste and fully recyclable packaging.

By adopting Pearls, Peralin Paints can deliver unmatched color consistency and efficiency to customers while strengthening its sustainability profile and operational performance.

Recent lifecycle analyses have confirmed that Pearls solid colorants can achieve a significantly lower carbon footprint compared to traditional liquid tinting systems, thanks to the system’s reduced waste, longer shelf life and lower raw material requirements. To meet growing global demand for this groundbreaking technology, Vibrantz is constructing a facility in Sittard, Netherlands, fully dedicated to the production and advancement of Pearls. Adjacent to the company’s existing colorant plant, the new site will increase Vibrantz’s global Pearls production capacity to approximately 1.2 million liters per year.
